A little bit about the Musica Mondays series:
Ruby started this back during her graduate school journey to distract herself from her busy life and to use music discovery as her way of coping with stress and everyday struggles. As a Content Creator, Ruby finds joy in sharing her journey in what it is to be Latina and sharing her latest new music discovery finds.
Since 2020, Ruby has grown MusicaMondays to be its own weekly newsletter and consistent posting on her social media channels.

As an avid music listener and fan, she believes in the importance of showcasing and highlighting Latin Music. Oftentimes, Latin Music gets overlooked or simply ignored by big awards shows or the general media. It is important for Ruby to use her platforms as a voice to highlight the beauty of Latin Music through discovery and showcasing new music that includes new and emerging artists, diverse genres, and Latin languages including Español, Português, and English.

Ruby believes it is time to highlight and showcase the trailblazers that are making an impact each week in music.
